Review Detail

As the name suggests this wine is a blend of varieties, namely Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The Malbec in particular shines through on the nose with a plushness of glossy blue fruits and floral cherry. Oak provides a lovely backbone of generous spice and texture, contrast comes in the form of dark cherry and plum. There is a taut line of acidity and fine but drying tannins to finish, with the wine needing a few years to stitch together the constituent parts.
