Review Detail
2014 Cloverleaf Cabernet Merlot
Wine Rating
92
A medium red in terms of colour with a nose that has a plushness to blackberry fruit and faint cedar on the nose. The wine is medium bodied with a baseline of chocolate / mocha like tannins that when combined with subtle oak induced spice give dimension to drying black berry fruits . The mid palate enjoys a touch of unsweetened liquorice and brown spice before length of drying blackberry fruit. A really good value release here.
