Review Detail
2002 Petaluma Coonawarra
Wine Rating
95
Deep red with the nose showing all that is good about Coonawarra with mint, blackberry, plum and vanillin oak integrating wonderfully.
The wine has dusty blackberry and understated plum fruit with fine tannins that envelop the back palate and linger with earthy dark berries and the tiniest touch of tomato leaf.
The finish has superb length of dark berries and olives. A superb wine with plenty of years ahead of it.
