A medium red in colour, the nose shows dried herbs , sweeter blackcurrant and old leather characters.
The wine is elegant and restrained with a definitive savoury twist, in particular there is sour edged blackberry, olive and pepper on the front to mid palate that takes on more earthy leather and cedar characters.
The finish shows good linear length of tannin, fruit and oak.
