A youthful red with a purple hue, the nose is aromatic and vibrant with raspberry and spice.
The palate shows the blackberry influence of the Cabernet and fuller plum flavours from the merlot, the tannins are grippy without dominating and there is an earthy / leathery influence on the finish that adds to complexity. The length is acceptable.
