Review Detail
2009 Wynns V&A Lane Cabernet Shiraz
Wine Rating
91
A deep red to purple in colour, the nose shows plum and violets that have already started to integrate with leathery oak.
The wine is built in a savoury mode with framing tannins that persists from start to finish the highlight. In terms of fruit, drying blackberry is most prevalent on the palate with some richer blueberry providing a softer element on the finish.
The wine has excellent structure and its true class will slowly unravel in years to come.
