Impenetrable red to black in the glass, the nose has soy sauce and dull plum characters coming through. The palate is concentrated with savoury blackberry, plum and a hint of licorice, the tannin structure is firm and a little bitter. The oak is raw and needs more time to integrate. The finish is long but slightly hot. A wine that should be given a few more years to hit it's straps.... It has the potential
