The nose has plush plum fruit and sweet new oak influences, the palate in contrast is more savoury but still has a fair proportion of luxurious oak that will settle down with time.
The mid to back palate is dominated by black fruits and subtle spices , balanced acidity and fine tannins provide excellent structure.
The finish has great length of blackberry fruit and a savoury leathery twist.
