A heady nose of concentrated plum and ripe blackberry are amply supported by understated olive and toasty vanillin oak.
Each element of the 09 release shows class and character, it’s big, it’s bold but it works well together.
The fruit on the palate is highlighted by blackberry with cedary oak and subtle tannins providing texture and structure.
The wine finishes with lingering liquorice and dark berry fruits, who said that Barossa doesn’t do Cabernet ?
