A medium red hue in the glass with some duller notes towards the rim showing the wines age.
The nose is an olive and brine laden representation of dark berry fruit with flashes of dark chocolate and peppermint. The palate is medium bodied with tannins that are still tightly bound with nice acidity to go with drying blackberry fruit and the return of chocolate peppermint biscuit characters from the nose. A long, drying finish brimming with black fruit that underwrites further development.
