2012 Seville Estate Old Vine Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

The Seville Estate Reserve range represents some of the best wines produced in the Yarra Valley, the Cabernet Sauvignon is no exception. The fruit was sourced from the Estate's oldest plantings, a one acre block that was planted in 1972.

A brooding dark red in the glass, exceptional concentration of blackberry, blackcurrant and tobacco on the nose. The palate is built in a very similar way with tightly bound black fruits benefiting from some liquorice strap and gentle spice. The finish has drying tannins with some cigar box influences and considerable length.
