A wine with all the trimmings from a wine making perspective, selected parcels of fruit were fermented and kept on skins for 45 days post ferment maceration before the wine was aged in 100 % new French Oak. The resultant wine is powerfully varietal and regional expression of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Deep cassis aromas on the nose with bramble, tobacco, graphite and an aromatic lift from cedar like French Oak. The palate is bursting with concentrated blackberry fruit that is supported by black olive, tobacco and richer oak and cocoa notes as the wine unfolds in the glass. There is a faint touch of earth to a swathe of dark berry fruits and gentle oak spice to finish.

This wine will continue to evolve over the medium term.
