This is a great wine for the price, it oozes both varietal and regional appeal with a richness of blackberry and plum fruit and generous cedar and vanillin oak on the nose. The wine is medium to full bodied with well put together proportions. There is a ripeness to blackberry fruit on the palate with a tomato leaf and earthen nuance that adds complexity. Tannins are fine and supportive, with a milk chocolate combining with chalky dark berry fruits to finish.
