The colour, and nose point to a youthful and vibrant wine that has good varietal definition and plenty of future development. The nose gives blackberry, tomato leaf, a touch of tobacco and graphite. The palate is medium bodied with juicy acidity and leafy, undergrowth inspired tannins. Juicy blackcurrant and blackberry dominate in terms of fruit but with time the wine will develop more subtle secondary complexities.
