John Harris is a very talented winemaker, 2016 was a warmer year in Victoria with good viticulture practice and attentive winemaking producing a cabernet that is light on it’s feet with attractive floral notes and a svelte elegance that has been hard to find across the vintage.

A medium red with purple hues to the rim, the nose is bursting with dark cherry and blackberry fruit that is backed by the faintest of oak induced spice

The palate builds with cherry fruit moving to blackberry alongside tannins that are characterised by graphite, cigar box and earth. The finish sees a return of drying dark fruits with impressive length. Give this wine time and watch it flourish.
