2016 Star Lane Shiraz

The minimalist approach of Star Lane has created a wine that gives both a prettiness, yet layered and complex savoury appeal. A nose that is lifted by oak spice but framed by dark cherry and plum fruit.

The palate is medium bodied with a broad baseline of dark berry fruits that enjoy chalky, tightly bound tannins. There is an earthiness to the fruit, with bitter dark chocolate adding another dimension.

Excellent length to finish, with the wine having the potential to grow even more with time.
