A good value find here that has cellaring potential that goes beyond a mid week quaffer. A vibrant red in the glass with a nose of boysenberry and blackberry fruit that’s lifted by graphite and cedar. The palate is built around taut, drying blackberry fruit with some sweeter raspberry notes that are pitted against drinking cocoa and bracken. The finish has drive of drying blackberry, with the structure to reward a decade in the cellar.
