A youthful red as you would expect, the nose is varietal with blackberry, pastille and some green herbs whilst also showing a touch of alcohol. The palate doesn’t have the same concentration as the nose with black fruits dominated by herbaceous and savoury tones alongside drying tannins and lean acidity; the use of oak adds some dark cocoa with a sage like thread to blackberry fruit to finish. A chance to fill out with some time.
