An inky, youthful red in the glass with bright red cherry and raspberry with a lick of new oak and a touch of alcohol warmth. There are raspy tannins and lots of oak on palate that overwhelms the fruit for the moment, there is a pepperiness to cherry fruit with a faint touch of charcuterie and spice that leads to a long fruit driven finish.
