A youthful purple to red hue in the glass that shows the wines youth is coupled with a primary fruited nose of blackberry and cassis with some graphite and cocoa notes.
The palate has black cherry combining with blackcurrant alongside a fine yet firm line of tannin; there plenty of acidity with cedar showing itself and good length of earthen blackberry fruit.
Give it a couple of years to come into its own.
