Review Detail
2009 Dalwhinnie Estate Moonambel Cabernet
Wine Rating
87
Dark red in colour, oak dominates the dark fruits on the nose and is backed by subtle menthol characters.
The Palate has lots of ripe blackberry fruit and again a large impact from oak, lacking complexity, but having good depth and concentration of fruit.
This is a wine that undoubtedly needs time to show it's true form.
