Review Detail
2010 Bowen Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
94
A dark red in colour, that is lighter towards the rim, the nose shows dusty blackberry, mulberry and mint.
The wine is well proportioned with all the elements that are the hallmark of a great Coonawarra Cabernet, the dense dark berry fruits, the drying but fine tannins, the suggestion of oak , and a faint mint character somewhere in the mix.
The 2010 Cabernet is a very good wine that is showing well in it’s youth and will reward medium term cellaring.
