Review Detail
2009 Helm Wines Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
90
A medium to dark red in colour, the nose is true to varietal character with blackcurrant and slight hint of min that is backed by quality french oak.
There is elegance on the palate, with delicate black fruits complemented by cedary oak inputs. The wine has drying tannins and and spicy oak on the long finish, and will reward medium term cellaring.
