Review Detail
2008 Helm Wines Premium Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
93
A dark red , slightly lighter towards the rim, the nose is a heady mix of blackberry, cedar and earth.
The wine has balanced but ripe black fruits and olive, with an undercurrent of dusty tannins and spicy notes that weave in and out on the palate.
The tannins on the finish are drying, but velvety, coating the mouth with dense black fruits and the slightest hint of vanillin oak.
