Review Detail
2007 Medhurst Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
90
This is a wine that was tasted blind and had me guessing more Coonawarra than cool climate Yarra Valley Cabernet.
The wine is starting to shows it's age with a red to brick red in colour. The nose is earthy, with blackcurrant, olive and pencil shavings.
The palate has plum and spicy blackcurrant with fine dusty tannins that lead towards a long and enjoyable finish.
