2010 Punters Corner Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating

92
Punters Corner is a consistently good producer that represents excellent value and have managed to craft a cellar-worthy red from the excellent 2010 vintage.

The wine is a deep youthful red in colour, the nose shows ample cassis and dark berry fruit with a minty lift and seasoned oak character that is imminently Coonawarra.

The palate starts lean with closed dark berry fruits and tight knit tannins that become more generous on the mid to back palate with blackberry, supporting coffee oak and textural tannins accentuating the wines length.

This wine will cellar wonderfully and has all the elements to be a classic Coonawarra Cabernet.
