Review Detail
2009 Murray Street Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
(Updated: March 20, 2015)
Wine Rating
94
The 2009 Murray Street Cabernet Sauvignon is another great example of Cabernet coming out of the Barossa Valley, the wine maintains it's varietal character and at the same time benefits from the concentration that is typical of Barossa, coupled with well handled oak inputs.
The nose gives generous blackberry and cassis with tomato leaf and spicy oak inputs, the palate is dense and structured with layers of black fruits given a spicy lift from vanillin oak and rounded out by savoury olive characters. There is expansive length to finish.
