Cabernet Sauvignon March 22, 2015
2005 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating

95
The colour doesn’t give away the fact that this wine has just reached it’s 10th birthday, showing an almost youthful red hue in the glass. A wonderful nose of blackberry and quality vanillin oak that is backed by capsicum and a little tomato leaf.

The palate has concentration and depth, graphite tannins are wrapped by blackcurrant and dark chocolate with an olive and liquorice all sort complexity that lingers on the finish. This wine is drinking superbly and will go for at least another decade.
