Review Detail

A wonderfully mature nose of leathery blackberry, cigar box and background damp earth, the palate is elegant with finely filamented cassis fruit, pencil shaving oak and touch of richer chocolate notes which are amply supported by fully resolved tannins, this wine is at the peak of it’s form with primary fruits still holding, yet complex and subtle secondary characters making themselves known.
