Cabernet Sauvignon November 24, 2010
2008 Bowen Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating

86
Rich red in colour, the nose is ripe with raspberry , again there are bright red and black fruits on the palate with plum the most dominant, can't help but think the fruit was a little stressed as there are no savoury overtones and little tannin. The use of good oak has provided some vanillian flavours in the mid to back palate, and the wine finishes slightly unbalanced.
