The nose shows a bouquet of raspberry and blackberry, the oak hits you on the front palate, with some slight cassis and plenty of ripe plum fruit, the oak though evident doesn't detract from the wine and provides a nice lift. There is excellent acidity on the finish that stops the ripe fruit from being cloying or one dimensional,
