The nose gives some blackberry and dark cherry notes as you would expect from the variety and some background capsicum and green olive.

A soft and supple wine, there is an enjoyable texture with blackberry and mulberry fruits enjoying a gentle lift by sweeter cedar oak and a continual thread of tomato leaf that weaves its way throughout the wine. Where the wine falls down is its lack of concentration to finish. However good value to be had here for the price.
