A varietal nose of blackberry and mulberry fruits with some cedar top notes without reaching any great heights. There is a veneer of confected dark berry fruits that means balance is hard to fine when contrasted to the wines coarser tannins that are considerably drying, with a tar and earth aspect to finish with intermittent black fruits.
