Review Detail
2016 d’Arenberg The Coppermine Rd Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
94
A youthful and glossy red in the glass with a nose of graphite and red pastille that’s backed by cedar, blackberry and fresh earth.
The palate is coursing with graphite and crushed rock that gives a minerally disposition to tightly bound black fruits before a wash of richer oak and black cherry fruit gives definition and depth to the mid palate. Tannins are compact but have impact with a black olive and liquorice strap edge to blackberry fruit to finish.
