Review Detail
2017 Jackson’s Hill Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
90
A medium red hue in the glass, the nose has good varietal appeal with leathery notes to blackberry fruit. A supple wine that tastes older than its vintage. Tannins are resolved and integrated with blackberry compote, oak has given cedar spice with enough acidity to give length to the finish that is awash with black fruits. Good value at the price, but a shorter term proposition.
