Review Detail
2018 Credaro Kinship Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
95
Credaro are well and truly on a roll, the Kinship range is fast becoming one of the more consistent and value wines coming out of Margaret River. The 2018 release of both Cabernet and Chardonnay in particular have been excellent.
In terms of colour the wine is a youthful but deep red as you would expect from a 2018 release, the nose enjoys blackberry and boysenberry fruits alongside bay leaf, fennel and oak induced spice. There is a drying and taut baseline of tannin that is equal part graphite and earth with a saturation of tightly bound blackberry fruit; the structure of which underwrites the wines future cellaring potential.
The finish is all about the concentrated black fruits that have an ever so subtle weave of spice, the length is considerable.
