Review Detail
2017 Forest Hill Mount Barker Cabernet Sauvignon
(Updated: June 03, 2020)
Wine Rating
94
Dry grown, old vines so often produce wines of balance and this is certainly the case here. A deep red in the glass with subtle tones of graphite and leather alongside plum with cedar influence. The palate takes on blackberry fruit with a leathery and earthen disposition, tannins are supple and textural with black fruits melding with cigar box flavours to finish.
