A glossy deep red in the glass with a nose that gives rich blackberry and plum fruit with top notes of black cherry and cedar like spice.

Medium bodied with compact tannins and finely tuned acidity give poise to drying blackberry that fills out on the mid palate with richness of plum and a pull of creamier oak. The finish centres on dark cherry with a gentle sweetness, the length is very good.

An attractive Cabernet as a young wine, but will reveal plenty in time.
