Review Detail

A savoury nose of graphite, old leather and crushed rock that is laced with cassis and some spice. The palate sees impact of quality french oak with a seductive, supple edge to concentrated black berry fruits. The tannins are expansive and with the addition of oak take on more of a dark chocolate feel, before a return of the pencil shaving and savoury structure the nose suggested. A wine with all the components in the right measure to live for a long time.
