Review Detail
2018 Levantine Hill Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
95
Immediately recognisable as Yarra Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and a wonderful example at that.
Mulberry, blackberry and cigar box spice and autumnal leafy notes. The palate is supple and ripe, but deeply varietal. Blackberries are wrapped with the gentle spiced influence of quality French oak. The finish has baking herbs and pepper set against glossy black fruits. The length is considerable.
