This is top end Coonawarra at its best, the aromatics are complex and the palate has concentration, drive, but above all elegance.
A nose of blackberry, graphite and cigar box like spice and black olive. The graphite and olive are at the core of the wine with a touch of unsweetened liquorice. Fruit centers on black currant and blackberry and tannins are firm yet fine and the finish continues the briney olive notes but with lingering black fruits that have impressive length.
