2009 Shottesbrooke Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
91
Dark purple to red in colour, the nose has aromatic blackcurrant and tomato leaf.
The palate has firm blackberry fruit that combines with mint and fine drying tannins that coat the mouth, the oak plays a supporting role, adding structure rather than overt flavours.
The wine finishes with ripe, focused dark fruits that linger with blackcurrant the most dominant.
