The colour of the wine seems to align with it's name in terms of the deep, dark brooding colour it portrays in the glass.The nose has ripe blackberry, understated mint and subtle oak aromas.

The wine unravels slowly, with vibrant, concentrated blackberry fruit moving towards a more developed mint, then a step further with earthy/leathery notes. The finish sees the return of blackberry fruit that combines with mouth filling tannins and excellent oak integration.
