Review Detail
2008 Willow Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
94
A deep dark red in colour, the nose has a wonderful array of aromas that center on blackcurrant, tomato leaf and a faint acknowledgement of high quality oak.
The wine shows both concentration and subtlety, the blackberry and plum fruit combines with tobacco and herbaceous notes providing lovely textures, contrasts and mouth feel. The finish has fine supporting tannins and superb length, again the oak is just a background element, but plays it's part.
