Review Detail
2009 Bowen Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
94
A youthful medium red in colour, the nose has ripe blackcurrant character that is tempered by olive undertones and subtle oak integration.
The wine itself has wonderful poise, finding a balance between full bodied black fruits, dusty tannins and framing oak.
The finish has a superb mouthfeel with fine firm tannins that are rounded off with olive and blackcurrant.
