Review Detail
2006 Blok Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
91
Deep red to black in colour, the nose has blackcurrant, tomato leaf and cinnamon characters.
The palate is firm with bracing tannins and good acidity that set this wine up for medium term cellaring. There is tightly bound blackberry and blackurrant fruit that benefits from leathery oak and pepper influences towards the long dusty dark berry fruited finish.
