Review Detail
2008 Richard Hamilton Hut Block Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
91
The wine is a very deep red in colour, rich American oak and deep seated plum combine well on the nose. The palate is set against a backdrop of fine chalky tannins and controlled acidity, in terms of fruit there is firm plum and blackberry that have started to integrate with charry oak, but in need of a few years to soften and unveil the wines true potential. Excellent value for money.
