Deep red in colour, the nose has aromatic cedar that is backed by blackcurrant and cloves.
The palate has integrated oak from start to finish with smokey blackberry fruit and firm tannins providing contrast. The finish has superb concentration and length of dark berry fruits.
There was no 1st Growth created due to a tough year in 07, undoubtedly some of the grapes made it into this wine.
