The colour and nose give away immediately that this champagne is a vintage release, and a very good one at that.
The wine is a golden yellow in colour with a brioche and caramel scented nose that is made in an ever so oxidative style.
There is a fine bead in the glass, the palate shows peach skins, a bit of blue cheese funk, with the wines richness tempered by taught acid, and the finish lingers with brioche goodness.
