Review Detail
2007 Deutz Blanc de Blanc
Wine Rating
90
A very light yellow in colour, this vintage release produced from only Chardonnay grapes is a wine that needs time to soften and come into it’s own. The nose has a slight vanillin lift to the nectarine and peach aromas, the palate itself starts with creamy nectarine fruit that gives a full mouth feel which is aided by a fine bead. The mid to back palate suffers from some hard acidity that strips back the wines richness, the acid needs time to integrate and come back into balance.
